We offer several trail ride options for all levels of riders. Please note that we do not take children under 7 years of age out for trail rides. All riders must prove sufficient balance and control on a horse in an arena before going out on the trails. Appropriate riding attire is recommended. Riding Helmets, boots with a heel and long pants are required. As a safety precaution we do not allow handheld electronics to be used during trail rides. Beginner's Ride (45 minutes) - $55 per rider

This is a ride for those who have little to no riding experience. We start all of the rides in the arena, warming up the horses, reviewing basic horse control and making sure all horse and rider combinations are a good match. Once everyone is comfortable we will leave the arena and continue along our on-property trails through wood, fields and pasture land.

Intermediate Ride (2 hours) - $80 per rider

This is a ride is geared towards individuals who are comfortable walking and trotting on a horse. We begin with basic safety and control before leaving the arena and ride on our trails and several other trail systems adjacent to our home farm. This ride covers a variety of terrain and has good opportunities to see native wildlife.

Advanced Ride (4 hours)  - $120 per rider

This is a ride for those who are comfortable walking, trotting and cantering a horse. A rider must have ridden at least 25 hours in the last 6 months to go out on this type of ride. We will begin by ensuring all horse and rider combinations are appropriate. This ride has the option of leaving from our farm and riding the surrounding trails and Pennsylvania state game land or riding on the Lancaster Lebanon Rail Trail. This ride will include a break for food. Saddlebags and water are provided.

Seasoned Ride (6 hours) - $240 per rider

This ride is only for those who are comfortable walking, trotting, and cantering a horse. A rider must have ridden at least 50 hours in the last 3 months to go out on this ride. This ride follows the horseshoe trail and leaves from the Furnace Hills pike trail-head located 7 minutes from our farm. The majority of this ride is through Pennsylvania state game land. it is a beautiful and rugged ride showcasing the our beautiful woodlands and the surefooted nature of the Icelandic horse. This ride will include a lunch break. Saddlebags and water are provided.
